The Census app allows you to manage all of the leads and dialing lists that you have in the system. You can use it to start and stop your dialing lists, import new lists, search the existing population, create custom fields and manage your DNC list.
Importing Leads

Importing records with Census is simple. Choose the Import Records tab in Census and click "Choose File" to browse to the file on your computers. We recommend that you save all files as CSV first before importing into the system. Once you have chosen a file, click Upload and Proceed to preview the contents of your file. If you're in agreement with the previewed content, click Continue to go to the column mapping screen.
When importing records for a campaign/ACD that uses Flow scripts, make sure to select the Flow script in the drop-down below the preview, this will pull the custom fields in the next screen allowing you to map data into the custom fields. (The list with the custom fields must be created prior to the import)
Qubicles remembers all files that you have previously uploaded and creates a template of your column mapping. This makes it easier for you to import subsequent files in the future. To use an existing template from a file that you have already imported, choose the option from the Templates dropdown list. If a template doesn't exist that matches your current file, simply ensure that the Create New Template option is selected in the list and click Continue to go to the last step. (To use the templates, your .csv files must have the exact same column layout)
Lists that contain custom fields will have the custom fields displayed and available for mapping below the system standard ‘Alternate Phone 10’ field. Here you can map data for both the system and custom fields.
On the final import screen, you will be prompted to select a country to associate the leads with and a campaign for the imported list. Once you have selected a campaign, you can choose to either import this list as a new dialing list or append it to an existing dialing list.
The Duplication Settings section allows you to de-dupe your file, duplicate records are based ONLY on the lead phone number. When importing into a list with custom fields, you MUST de-dupe the file and skip duplicates.
Once your desired options are selected, verify the field mapping using the section below and click Process to import.
You can also import campaign DNC or wireless DNC lists directly into the system. The following options are available on the last step of the import process that allows you to do this:
1. "Import these numbers into the wireless DNC list". If this is checked the phone numbers in the file will go into the wireless DNC automatically.
2. "Import these numbers into the campaign DNC list". If checked, the phone numbers in the file will go into the campaign DNC list for the selected campaign.
3. "Import these numbers into the Master DNC list". If checked, the phone numbers in the file will go into the system master DNC list for campaigns with the master DNC enabled.
Starting, stopping, and managing lists
When you first launch Census, you will be presented with all the dialing lists currently in the system along with the number of records in each and whether they are currently started or stopped. When you Start a list, you're informing the Qubicles engine to begin calling those leads (assuming that the campaign is Active and you're within the hours of operations defined on your campaign). You can also use this screen to delete existing lists by simply clicking the Delete button on the right-hand side of the screen. To view details on the list's performance, click Edit to bring up summary statistics on that list.
Searching Census for interaction history
Searching the population of records in Census can be done using the Search Population tab. You can search by phone number, agent, contact id if known, or by dialing lists. Once you have entered your search criteria, Census will automatically search for records matching your entries and bring up any matching results. You can also click "Details" to view more detailed information on activity for each result.
Census allows you to quickly add or remove numbers in your DNC list. Leads who have requested agents place them on your Do Not Call lists will automatically show up in this tab. Click here for detailed information regarding importing and managing DNC.
